The new brochureof c.MET05Policy Research Meetings is online. The programme is updated to October 2020.Despite the contingent emergency caused by COVID-19, the c.MET05 activities are continuing. As we cannot meet in person for the time being, the meetings will be held on a virtual platform.The next Policy Research Meeting will be on 30 April 2020, from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and will be titled “On our future economy: the Italian case”.
The opening speech will be given by Professor Gianfranco Viesti, Full Professor of Economics at the University of Bari.Gianfranco Viesti has carried out important research activities on both the Italian and International economy. His main research topics include the economy of Southern Italy, local and regional development and policies, European Union cohesion policies, as well as issues related to trade and internationalization. He has collaborated with various international and Italian institutions such as the OECD, the World Bank, UNIDO, the Italian government and Regional governments in Italy.
